This impressive palace, which was built in 1882 and even saw the famous Austrian writer Stefan Zweig reside here, is truly ideal for relaxing holidays and offers elegant comfort. And all that in the heart of the Austrian government district and in the vicinity of the Rathaus (town hall), the Hofburg (Imperial Palace) and many international embassies and company headquarters.
From the outside the palace impresses with the typical “New-Viennese” renaissance style. Inside, our guests find elegance, highly personal service and a truly unique atmosphere. Only a stone’s throw away from the hotel you will find the Rathausplatz, where different kinds of events take place throughout the year. Countless museums and theatres, the Hofburg (Imperial Palace) and the Museumsquartier (Museum Quarter) are situated in the vicinity of the hotel and await their visitors with a varied cultural programme.
